Naples Highlights (3 hours)
We will come to pick you up at your hotel in one of Leader Car Service’s discreet luxury cars at 10.00 am and take you on a guided tour of the highlights of Naples in total comfort. The tour naturally begins by going along the seafront at Mergellina and up to Posillipo, from where there is a spectacular sweeping view of the Gulf of Naples, from Cape Miseno to Sorrento and across to the islands of Ischia and Capri. Coming down from Posillipo and going back into the heart of the city, the tour takes in not to be missed sights such as Castel dell’Ovo and the city’s main castle and the Maschio Angioino (Angevin Keep) in the central Piazza Municipio. Other sights in the city centre include the Cathedral and the National Museum, after which the tour proceeds up Vomero Hill to Castel Sant’Elmo and the Certosa di San Martino (St Martin’s Charterhouse).
All of this is included in the Naples tour that you can enjoy in the comfort of one of our exclusive luxury cars. The tour ends at around 1.00pm.
Naples Highlights (8 hours)
After the 3 hours tour described above, you can take a lunch break and prolong the tour. Of course, it has to be remembered that lunch in Neapolitan restaurants is not usually a quick bite – the local cuisine is justifiably famous and a meal in a traditional restaurant is a must on a visit to the Gulf. Leader Car Service is happy to recommend restaurants to suggest the best places to suit your requirements.
After lunch, around 2.30pm, the first stop is naturally Vesuvius, from where you can admire the view of the Gulf and the city of Naples from a different perspective.
Finally, no tour of the neighbouring area would be complete without a stop on the Sorrento Peninsula with its little towns tumbling down towards the sea and breathtaking views of the island of Capri.
